Basileus - President

Soror Jacina Laboo is a proud Washington State native, she has been a dedicated member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated for more than 25 years, beginning her journey as an undergraduate at Washington State University. Throughout her years of service, she has held several leadership positions, including Anti-Grammateus and Anti-Basileus, and currently serves as Basileus. She is honored and excited to lead under this year’s theme, “Sisterhood in Action, Leading with Heart.”

For the past 23 years, she has served as a Physical Education teacher and has remained a passionate advocate for active and healthy living. Whether working out with friends, hiking, playing softball, or enjoying a game of pickleball, she believes that staying active is an important part of maintaining overall health and well-being.

Family remains at the heart of her life. She cherishes Sunday family dinners and is the proud mother of a son who is currently a junior in college. She also has a passion for travel and makes it a personal goal to visit at least one new country each year. An avid baseball enthusiast, one of her bucket-list goals is to visit every Major League Baseball stadium.

Tanisha Macklin

Anti-Basileus - Vice-President

Soror Tanisha Macklin enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, shopping, and exploring interior design. She is also passionate about highlighting the impact of community service and sharing the mission and legacy of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. She earned a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, which provided a broad educational foundation while strengthening her commitment to lifelong learning and service.

She values quality time with loved ones, creating meaningful memories, and surrounding herself with genuine, authentic people. Known for her energetic and positive spirit, she enjoys bringing enthusiasm and joy to every endeavor while remaining focused on achieving organizational goals. She believes that service can be both purposeful and rewarding.

Within Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., she has served in several leadership roles, including Chair of Operation BigBookBag and the Hospitality Committee, while also contributing to numerous chapter committees that support the sorority's programs and initiatives. She currently serves as First Anti-Basileus of the Zeta Phi Sigma Chapter, where she is dedicated to strengthening sisterhood, supporting chapter growth, and advancing the sorority's mission of Greater Service, Greater Progress.

Clarice Whitaker

2nd Anti-Basileus - 2nd Vice-President

Soror Clarice Whitaker is a native of Virginia Beach, VA. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Virginia State University. Clarice joined the Zeta Phi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho in Fall 2022. She is a past Rhoer advisor and currently serves as our Second Anti-Basileus. In her free time, she loves to spend time with family and sorors, reading, shopping and watching sports. She is dedicated to giving back to her community.

Renee Webb

Anti-Grammateus - Secretary

Soror Renee A. Webb was elected and currently serves on the Executive Board as the Anti-Grammateus. Soror Webb was inducted with the Fall 2023 class in the Zeta Phi Sigma, Alumnae Chapter. Ms. Webb has earned several degrees, including a Bachelor of Criminal Justice, a Master of Arts in Transportation and Logistics Management, and is currently working on an Accounting Degree.

In addition to her educational experience, she brings over 13 years of professional expertise from her time in the Army as a Logistics Officer and then as a journey level {software} project manager; earning her Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate to enhance her job performance. Soror Webb has served in multiple volunteer opportunities over the past few years, with The JBLM Rocks, Inc (mentorship group), Greentrike (Children's Museum), USO, and Tacoma Washington History Museum.

Christine Thomas

Grammateus - Financial Secretary

Soror Christine Thomas is a proud wife, mother of two exceptional sons, U.S. Army retiree, and lifelong learner whose leadership is grounded in service, integrity, and compassion. After honorably serving 21 years in the United States Army as a Human Resources Senior Noncommissioned Officer, she transitioned into retirement with a continued commitment to mentoring others, serving her community, and pursuing professional growth. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Purdue University and is currently pursuing additional professional certifications while preparing for graduate studies. Guided by the values of faith, family, integrity, service, lifelong learning, and excellence, she is passionate about empowering others and creating meaningful impact through leadership.

Within Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Soror Thomas is a proud member of the Tacoma Zeta Phi Sigma Alumnae Chapter. Initiated in Fall 2025 as a member of The Fifth Element line, she proudly carries the line name "Majestic Gaia," representing the Earth element. She currently serves as Grammateus and actively supports the chapter through sisterhood, scholarship, service, and community engagement. Committed to the sorority's motto, "Greater Service, Greater Progress," she strives to build a lasting legacy of leadership, excellence, and service for future generations.

Kenya Collins

Tamiochus - Treasurer

Mother of an awesome special needs child, Soror Kenya Collins. She likes to read, ride her bike, bowl, go outside, and collect works of art by black women. Her value of life is to live in one’s truth while making the world a greater place to live in. She strives to encourage and uplift those around her so they can in turn to do the same to the others around them. She joined Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Spring of 2022. She served as our chapters Grammateus and Tamiochus for the 2022-2024 sorority year,

Celease Blue

Epistoleus - Historian

Soror Celease "CeCe" Blue loves acting, theater, dance, cooking, and reading. She earned her B.A. in Digital Cinema and Interactive Media from DePaul University and moved from Chicago to the West Coast. Soror Blue is a Paraeducator in the Clover Park District and has been working with children for over 5 years. Soror Blue has always had a passion for film and theater, with hopes of becoming a Producer one day. She also is an African and Hip-Hop dancer. Her values in life are peace, happiness, resilience, and love. Soror Blue has an extroverted personality and love to enjoy life to the fullest. She takes pride and pleasure in building relationships and working with others. In her previous chapter, she was the NPHC Committee Chair and Performance Chair. She is the Ace and forever known as Effervescent. Currently, she holds the new role as Epistoleus for the 2024-2025 Sorority year and is beyond excited to be a part of an endless sisterhood.

Candice Golden

Parliamentarian

Soror Candice Golden is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She joined Zeta Phi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho, Inc. Fall of 2024. She is the Youth Symposium Chair and currently serves as the Parliamentarian. In her free time she enjoys walking trails and reading. She loves the sisterhood and community service aspects of the sorority.

C. Lynn Willis

Philo Advisor

C. Lynn Willis calls Chicago, Illinois, home and is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania in Communication Arts (1990) while working on an Associate of Science in Air Transportation from the Community College of the Air Force. In 1999, she earned her Master’s Degree from Troy University in Foundations of Education with a Concentration in Leadership. Shortly after college graduation, she dedicated 25 years of service with the United States Air Force Reserves and gained leadership and organization skills. Soror Willis is a Life Member, Military Soror, and Ruby.

Ange Gentry

Rhoer Club Advisor/Chaplain

Soror and Colonel Ange Gentry is a career Military Intelligence professional who has served for over 25 years on both active duty and with the Washington National Guard as an Army Officer. She graduated and received her commission from the University of Washington and although she spent most of her childhood in California, she has resided in Washington for the last two decades and calls the Pacific Northwest home. She is a wife and mother of three children who also enjoys supporting ministry as a family and lifestyle in her free time.

Dr. CeDrice Howard

Rhosebud Club Advisor

Soror CeDrice Howard is the current co-advisor of the Rhosebud club of Zeta Phi Sigma Alumnae Chapter. She grew up in Washington state and went to school in Buffalo, New York. She is currently working as a women's health Physician Assistant. She enjoys the sisterhood and community service components of the sorority. She is happy to be able to lead the Rhosebuds club and help develop the young ladies into our future leaders.
